Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AgriAI Kenya. Please read them carefully — by using the service, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using AgriAI, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use AgriAI.
3. The service
AgriAI is a farm-management app for Kenyan farmers. The core farmer app is free to use.
Founding members — users who registered before 1 October 2026 — keep Pro features at no monthly charge for as long as AgriAI operates the service. This applies to the Pro feature set as it exists from time to time; AI crop scans and AI assistant use remain subject to fair-use limits, which we may adjust to keep the service sustainable. "Free for life" refers to the lifetime of the service, not a personal guarantee, and does not survive discontinuation of AgriAI or of the Pro tier.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use AgriAI lawfully. You must not: misuse or disrupt the service; upload unlawful, false, or harmful content; access other users' data without authorization; or use the service to harm others.
5. Your content and the licence you give us
You keep ownership of the farm data and photos you add. You grant AgriAI a licence to use this content to operate and provide the service to you. You also grant us a licence to use anonymized data — which cannot identify you or your farm — to improve our AI models and for research. You can withdraw consent to the anonymized research use at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Important: AI advice is advisory only
AgriAI's AI crop diagnosis and the Bwana Shamba assistant provide general guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional agronomic, veterinary, or other expert advice. Market-price information is reported by the community and is not guaranteed to be accurate or current. You are responsible for the decisions you make about your farm. To the extent permitted by law, AgriAI is not liable for losses arising from farming or commercial decisions you make based on the service.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, AgriAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, crops, data, or income, arising from your use of the service.
9. Payments
Some features are paid. Subscriptions are billed via M-Pesa; pricing, billing cycle and cancellation terms are shown in the app before you pay.
10. Termination
You can stop using AgriAI at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or to protect the service or other users.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use AgriAI after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
